There’s an adventure straight ahead of me, and I can see it just over the horizon. It’s a wonderful sight. A vision of beauty beyond anything I could have ever imagined for myself. I see broken hearts being mended. Slaves being freed. Broken, unloved people truly feeling the love of a father. Children running into the arms of unconditional love and all because I said YES. I walked straight into the unknown, hand in hand with Jesus ready to shine a light into those dark, devastated places. I will not stop until they all know their worth. I won’t stand by while children and women are sold for sex. I won’t sit here and enjoy my comfortable life while a widow is starving and abandoned. I won’t stand here and fold my arms while an unloved child stands alone needing just to be held. I won’t do it. I love them all too much, and I haven’t even met them yet. How can I stand here knowing a truth so powerful that it can break the chains of slavery, abandonment, self hate, depression, starvation, loneliness, hopelessness and every dark and evil thing there is in this world and not tell them. How can I stand here and let people pass by me knowing that I know something that could change their lives forever and not tell them?! I will walk to the ends of the Earth for one lost child. I will climb mountains for one exploited young woman. I will do whatever it takes to get to them, and I know Jesus will be walking alongside me the whole way. He died for them. He died for you, and he died for me. Why? Because HE LOVES US THAT MUCH.

“This is love: He loved us long before we loved him. It was his love, not ours. He proved it by sending his Son to be the pleasing sacrificial offering to take away our sins. Delightfully loved ones, if he loved us with such tremendous love, then “loving one another” should be our way of life! No one has ever gazed upon the fullness of God’s splendor. But if we love one another, God makes his permanent home in us, and we make our permanent home in him, and his love is brought to its full expression in us.”  1 John 4:10-12
