First, a big thank you!

Thank you for your partnership this past year with my mission work in the 10/40 Window. I greatly appreciate your prayers, encouragement, and financial support!

Second, I have exciting news!

The last few months of my trip, the Lord had been putting leadership on my heart, and He impressed upon my spirit that I would soon be leading in some capacity or another. Last week, the Lord opened a door for me to be a leader to college-aged students on a World Race Semesters trip this fall. I will have a co-leader, and together we will disciple and serve alongside our squad of about twenty 18- to 22-year-olds. We will spend a total of three months in Ecuador and Peru.

In Ecuador, we will serve with Inca Link in Quito. We will have the opportunity to serve in a variety of ways, including ministering to homeless children, serving in hospitals for people with special needs, spending time in elderly homes, working with feeding programs, and teaching English. Our time in Ecuador will be focused around building relationships and sharing our hope and joy in Christ with everyone we meet.

In Peru, we will serve alongside Savage Ministries, where we will be a part of church ministry, women’s ministry, and sports ministry. We will also lead vacation Bible school, visit and pray with people in their homes, and share the Gospel through street evangelism.

And I am leaving in 3 weeks! (Whaaat??)

I would love and appreciate your prayers and support during these next three months. If you would like to partner with me financially, I need to raise $3,000 before I leave for Atlanta on August 24th for my leader training. Then we fly to South America on September 1st!

Donations are 100% tax-deductible! To donate, just press the orange DONATE button. It automatically fills in information for you, like the program and my name. All you have to do is choose the amount you would like to donate and fill in your card information. There you will also find instructions for mailing a check, if you would prefer to donate that way. Be sure to make the check out to Adventures in Missions, and write “Kelly Cunningham” on the memo line of the check.

To stay updated on my journey in Ecuador and Peru, you can subscribe to receive email updates when I write a new post (if you haven’t already). I absolutely love to share stories from the field!

The past few weeks have been an unexpected whirlwind, but I am so excited and expectant for what the Lord is going to do during my next three weeks in the US, and then my next three months in South America!

Thank you and God Bless!

Lots of love,

Kelly
