My soap box until the day I die
is the church
not in a box
nor in a cage
nor imprisoned by
false representatives, expectations, or
definitions
.
.
.
But the gathering of the chosen
to encourage
to edify
to encapsulate the body of
The living God
in intimacy
in vulnerability
in sacrifice
.
.
.
The presence of God no longer looms in a confined man made structure
The presence of God dwells in new temples
The presence of God dwells in God made structures
living beings
possessing his very likeness
The presence of God is all around
to be worshiped
freely
anywhere
in Spirit
and in Truth
.
.
.
The gathering of believers
“the church”
isn’t your set aside place to worship God
For our every word
our every action
our every thought worships
something
every moment
every day
.
.
.
But the gathering of believers
“the church”
is a set aside time
of choice
stewardship
commitment
to have fellowship
to come together
in the same mind
to not be alone
to be in unity as a complete body
to relate in humanness
and godliness
to experience the closest thing to
heaven
this side of it
