I thank God for the overwhelming peace He has given me since I started this journey. From the moment I knew the World Race was what God had in store for me, I have never doubted. I never doubted His plan, and I never doubted His provision. I knew that if God was truly calling me on this kingdom journey that He would provide ALL my needs. So I prayed…and it was that simple. Though I worked my booty off in the months leading up to the race, prayer was the only thing that ever made a difference. After launching for the race in January I still had around $7,000 left to raise in order to meet my financial goal of $18,100. At this point, there was no physical work I could do other than update those at home about what I was doing on the field. I couldn’t work, nanny, clean, etc. Everything was in God’s hands and I wasn’t anxious at all. I continued to pray each month that God would show up and by the beginning of month 4 I became FULLY FUNDED!! Through this season I have learned that no matter how hard you work for something; the Father is the only reason we ever receive good gifts. I have never doubted God’s provision in my fundraising efforts, but prayer has tremendously strengthened my trust in Him. I want to thank everyone who has been so supportive and encouraging of my race! It has really been so life giving to get to know each of you better and to see God moving throughout the whole process. I am overwhelmed by the love of my family, friends, and even complete strangers. Fundraising is truly a ministry within itself.
