Hello everyone thanks for clicking on another one of my blogs. We left Columbus, Ohio staying just off the campus of Ohio State and how now spent the last week in Medina, Ohio. The first couple days were debrief which mostly consisted of a worship time and a teaching each one run by a different person. It was a great time to reflect on the last two months as a team with us having a team meeting with our coaches and sharing the different highs and lows of the past months. When I had joined back in the beginning of July the team had just finished their last debrief so this was the first one for me and the newer teammates. After debrief we spent the other couple days between scheduled ministry of helping out our host in different capacities. These varied from watching over the hosts two younger girls or doing various manual labor on their property, such as clearing weeds and laying down mulch. The time here has been great and it has been fun to hangout with the host and watch football while another night they had a cookout inviting past alumni and friends over for a fun night and bonfire. I have had a good time here in Medina the past week.

It is a lot more rural at the current location, which kind of reminds me of life back in Maryland. Speaking of that, after we leave Medina tomorrow, we will be in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania for a week prior to heading over to my house for a few days following the time in PA. I am quite excited for the next two stops because these are the two states I have lived and grown up in. Spending my first ten years of life just 15 miles north of Philadelphia and the other ten down in Southern Maryland. If you were to ask my favorite of the two, I would say that the time spent just outside Philly was my favorite place of the two. However, there definitely is a lot of cool perks of living in Maryland, such as the wide variety of seafood and my favorite, the crab dip. All of this is without to mention that when I do miss the city its just an hour drive north to visit DC! There should be another blog up explaining our time in PA after we have finished up the time there. If nothing gets updated that’s because I’ll be sharing the time in Harrisburg, along with the time spent at my house in Maryland all in the same post.
