Coming to Malaysia we had no idea what to expect. We had questions such as what will our hostel would look like? Where will ministry be? What will we do for ministry? How long will our days last? These questions were quickly answered as we got a schedule for the month here. It was surprisingly complicated on just how many different things and amounts of people all the various activities required. Back in Thailand we would all go to one location and do manual labor there for a set amount of time and then continue to go back to that same location for around two weeks. Now we had a different way to serve others every day of the week and most of these did not require the whole team to go. So far I have helped out at a  homeless ministry, done street evangelizing, gone to a wide range of churches, helped a lady move, and lastly meet a group of Bangladesh refugees who have recently come to faith. The team has felt a distance start to grow between us as we have not been spending the whole day together like we previously had but this issue has been getting better as we now try to eat as many meals together as a team as reasonable and possible as it is. While talking to people on the streets who have no home to go to or job to help support them I was shocked when Ben Amanda and me went over to talk to a group of five men when they pulled some cardboard over for us to sit on. It was such a simple gesture but it was so inviting to see with how little they had to offer that they would do their best to keep us from sitting directly on the ground. We talked to them for a good amount of time and saw one the guys there preform some pretty impressive magic tricks that we had no idea just how he was able to guess all five of the cards we had picked out exactly right. We were able to share with them that God had a purpose for all of them and that he loved regardless of their past. One of the main things God has been bringing up to me is how he loves the people that are overlooked by others. People who have mental disorders, physical problems or those who just go off the path that society as deemed as normal or expected. These are the people that the Lord wants us to pay attention to because if we do not then who will?
