HELLO EVERYONE AND WELCOME TO THE START OF MY JOURNEY!!
My name is Julie Rogers. I’m a tea lover, adventure enthusiast, and I live for rainy days! I’m seventeen and am a true California girl, born and raised in Bakersfield Ca. Anyone who has ever been to Bakersfield knows that it is the biggest small town ever, where everyone knows everyone. This place is home and I love it! I come from a big, rather crazy, and loving family that has always valued the Lord above anything else. I am beyond thrilled to announce that I will be a part of the World Race Gap Year 2018! Wow, that’s crazy to finally be able to say! Many of you know that I have been prayerfully considering going on this program for about a year now. God has opened the door for me to be a part of this special journey! I will be leaving in September of 2018 and will return the following June. I, along with my team will be traveling to India, Swaziland, and Guatemala! We will be doing ministry in each of these countries for three months. I decided to make a video answering some commonly asked questions that I get about the program. Later on I will write out the story of how this all happened and what God’s been doing in my life recently, trust me you will want to read it (subscribe so you don’t miss it)! God is so good, and I know that this trip will only broaden my view of Him. I’m ready to start this journey and I’m excited to be pushed out of my comfort zone and get challenged in my faith, this trip is going to be a life changing one! Thanks for being a part of it!!
