Dear Prodigal,
I simply want to write this to you. You left your spot at the great banquet table. It was a place of acceptance and comfort, but maybe you didn’t see it that way. You caught a glimpse of the outside and thought it was much better than what was on the inside. You knew Jesus, you sat with Him, and now you have left your spot absent. Absent to chase things that are broken. But that spot that you left, the relationship with Jesus Christ, will always be open for you. He calls people like you and like me to sit next to Him at His banquet table. He calls the broken and the hurting, the prodigals and the lost sheep. None of us are better than the other, we are all fallen and sinful. Yet, He still calls us. He calls you. You can walk as far away from Him as you want, but I know my Creator, I know that He will NEVER stop calling you and chasing you down. He’s just that good.
So, the invitation still stands. There’s still a spot for you at the table. Home is waiting for you.
Sincerely,
Found
