Kintsugi: the Japanese art of using melted precious metals to put broken ceramics back together. Kintsugi is the art of allowing light to shine through the scars. Of restoring broken pieces and making them beautiful again. Of reminding people that brokenness does not equate uselessness. It is the art of revitalizing the damaged and giving it new life.

We are a team of women with scars…a team of women who live in a broken world but identify as beautiful.
We have been hurt but we are defined by our Healer.
We have sinned but we are defined by our Savior.
We have strayed but we are defined by our Shepherd.
We have been lost but we are defined by our Lover.
We are defined by our Redeemer. Our Father. Our Maker. Our truest source of light and goodness and peace and comfort. We are defined by the one who purposefully knit each of us together, as individuals and as a team.
God has taken our broken pieces and He has made us whole. And now He has taken each of us – beautiful, shining scars and all – and made us a family.
I am so excited for these sisters. Please be praying for us as we travel together, serve together, live together, grow together, and learn together. Sisters tend to bicker when they spend lots of time together, and we have a whole lot of “together time” coming our way! But sisters also tend to love fiercely. Pray for grace, unity, vulnerability, humility, honesty, and an overflow of love as we pursue the Father’s heart together.
