These are the guys I’ve been living with, doing ministry with, growing closer to God with, and having fun with for the past couple months. We all first met each other in July during training camp, and it’s so cool to look back and see how all our relationships having grown. I have had a blast being able to help lead them and set an example for them and also be their friends and have a ton of fun with them. I would love for you all to meet them too, so enjoy!

Rain because it is a self sufficient cycle, and it’s insane

Rusk (biscotti) it can put off a hard demeanor, but once you get to know me and dunk me in some coffee I can be a softy.

To know God on a level that I didn’t.

Embarrassing story: In 7th grade during a church small group sleepover I got stuck in my sleeping bag head first and almost suffocated, and they had to stop the small group discussing and help me out.

Mountains because they are beautiful, intimidating, and so fun to explore.

To further my intimacy with the Lord and love others while doing so.

Why did you want to squad lead?
To help others grow in their relationship with the Lord just like I did on my race. I learned and grew so much and I wanted others to experience the same.

Future Career/Dream: To get married and have a family and do whatever the Lord wants me to do
Embarrassing story: On my race in Botswana, I got sprayed by a blister beetle and had blisters all over my butt and every time I sat down they would pop and my pants would be wet.

Ravioli because I’m normal on the outside but on the inside I’m filled with stuff that makes me way better and who I am. Also because it’s a delicious Italian entree.
Why did you want to team lead?
I wanted to set an example for the guys during their first country and show them what it looks like to have a close relationship with God and have fun.

Future Career/Dream: To be a youth pastor and have a fun, adventurous life
Embarrassing story: My senior year on a missions trip in Trinidad, we went to a physically disabled school where 75% of the kids were wheelchair bound, and I went up in front of them to play Simon Says and I said, “Alright everybody, stand up.”
Favorite part of God’s creation and why?
Mountains because they are appealing to the eyes and powerful and mighty, and they make me feel adventurous and wild and they make me want to explore them.

I’m going to miss these guys a lot when I come home in December and they go off to Ecuador. They remind me of my team when I was on the race whom I loved a ton, so they have a special place in my heart. Thanks for reading and wanting to know more about my team.
