I heard this song for the first time this week, and loved it, but was disappointed. I have not been reading my bible a lot lately, not praying, not as joyful, and just feel distant from God. I feel like I don’t know Him well right now. I miss God.
I say this because I want to be real with all you guys back home and anyone who reads my blogs. Most of the time you only hear the good stuff from me. I’m no different than anyone else though and I definitely go through struggles.
It’s up to me to start reading, praying, and spending more time with God, so it’s up to me to change. At the same time though, I can’t do it without Jesus. He’s the WAY, the truth, and the life, and I’m so glad He’s leading me out of this dry season.
So keep me and my team in your prayers as we draw near the end of our race. I want to finish strong and stay present and seize every single moment.
