I wrote this poem during our second night of debrief after listening to the song It is well (Live) by Kristene Dimarco and Bethel Music. The rhyming is pretty basic and it’s a simple poem, but it means a whole lot to me and I really wanted to write down what God showed me and taught me during the song. I probably should of brought it out in our rap battle we had now that I think of it.
It is well
It is well in me,
Because You dwell in me.
You must increase,
But I must decrease,
My praise for you will never cease.
You love me so much you died,
My eyes are opened wide,
You hung there pierced in Your side,
In You I will always abide.
There’s not much we can bring to Your kingdom,
Things of this world, there’s none,
I want to bring people to heaven, more than some,
I want that to be the goal of my life, the main one,
I want to finish the run,
Throw a party in heaven and have some fun.
Take my future God, it’s all Yours,
It is well in me, if it’s all Yours.

When I was singing it is well over and over, I thought about why it is well. It is well because the Holy Spirit lives inside of me. The God of the entire universe and everything in it lives in my heart, that’s why it’s well.
If you have a relationship with God that’s why it’s well in you too.
If you dont have a relationship with God, you can. All can be well in you.
