Hey there! Coming at you live from the Storytellers Workshop!
AIM gives us the opportunity to come a day early so we can learn more about how to tell a good story throughout our World Race journey.
Today we got together in groups to collaborate in telling you about our first day in training!
First, I’ll let a few of my squad mates introduce themselves.
BRYNNA!
I’m a recent college grad from the good old Mitten state, which was a not so nice 12 hour drive before I finally reached Gainesville. I have ran 2 marathons, so I am more than ready to take on the World Race.
LAUREN!
Hi!!! I’m a Florida native transplanted in the great State of Tennessee. I’m 34 yrs old and ready to live a year bigger than myself. I’m a water girl who misses it greatly but the mountains are quickly growing on me as I have mountains to climb as I take on the world!
HANNAH!
Im from Gainesville, GA! Fun fact: It only took me 17 minutes to get here. Im excited to travel miles and miles being the feet of Jesus!
and me of course…
JEORGI!
I’m from good’ole Pennsylvania and I’m 22 years old. I’m pumped to hear Gods voice LOUD this week and get deep with my new family. AND I like to drink pickle juice.
We all came together for one purpose…
to share the love of Jesus
Here’s a glimpse of our life at training camp so far!
Living our best life.
Backpacks on backpacks on backpacks…on backpacks.
Community living at its finest.
Getting to know each others strengths and weaknesses also means getting to know their sleeping habits. With all the love in our heart, we now know who we should not sleep next to this year.
So. Many. Chacos.
Five star dining.
No but actually….the mac and cheese gave us life.
Check back in 10 days to find out if any of us have showered!
(either way, Jesus still loves us)
((And you too))
