Hi, Welcome to my first blog! I wanted to share with you the story of my call to go on the World Race! I have always had a heart for missions and over the last few years my call to missions has continued to grow. I was able to go to Zambia, Africa in June of 2016 and it was an absolutely life changing experience and ever since then I have wanted to do more with missions. So this summer the obvious question for all college seniors was very prominent in my life, “what comes after graduation?” I looked at graduate schools and career options for my degree but none of these options interested me. However, there was something that kept coming to the surface, The World Race. I began looking into it and praying specifically about this call. Soon I realized that the World Race was exactly what The Lord had planned for me!

This is definitely a terrifying step and one large leap of faith, but while I was praying for this choice I was lead to a few scriptures that I want to share with you all,

“This, then, is how you ought to regard us: as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the mysteries God has revealed.”

                                                                 -1 Corinthians 4:1

Reading this verse repeatedly reminded me that God Himself has CHOSEN me to be his servant and He has entrusted me with His mysteries. The definition of servant is “a devoted and helpful follower.” As a servant of the Lord I am called to be the hands and feet of the Lord and I am called to share these mysteries to with others

“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord has given me – the task of testifying the good news of God’s grace”

                                                                 -Acts 20:24

There are people in this world who are desperate for the love of Jesus and that is what this year is about. Loving God’s people. I am beyond excited to follow this call and so excited to share it all with whoever finds themselves on my blog! So thanks for reading and I hope you will continue to follow my journey and keep me your prayers!
