Well I’m a bit behind in my blogging, I apologize, things have been a bit hectic! Last time I blogged I left off in the midst of the Camino… That was a while ago.

We finished our time on the Camino after twenty days. Spiritually it was incredible… But physically it was rough! We made it through though and it was a sweet time of ministry and evangelism and growing closer to God in our own personal relationship with Him.

After that my team headed to Croatia where we spent two weeks mostly recovering from the Camino. We were blessed with a peaceful time and with rest, but also with ministry opportunities that suddenly opened up to us. We got the opportunity to mentor a young girl, to encourage and pray with many we met, and to perform a life skit in the public square in Makarska.
After Croatia my team headed to Montenegro to meet up with the rest of our Squad. Montenegro was a time of change and struggle. Our teams switched up, team 43:19 was no more and team Boundless was born. I dearly love this new team, but boy oh boy has it been a struggle right from the start. Day one Alexandria and I split from the rest of the group to go to the embassy to deal with issues with her passport. Day three we rejoined the team… And day four I went on a fateful hike with Alexandria.
We took some risks, climbed some rock walls, and all was well until the very end.

I made it down safely.

She made it down… quickly.

A lot happened after that, but long story short she wound up in the hospital with a hyper extended wrist and a fractured vertebrae.
She struggled, the team struggled, I struggled… It was a stressful time.

Then we waited in Montenegro for a bit.

We ended up working with a home church there though and despite the tension it was really cool just to be able to pray over and encourage the few believers in Montenegro.

After a couple weeks Alex healed up some, she decided not to go home, and the team was reunited. Yay!
Then we headed to Serbia.

Our three days in Serbia were wonderful but strange. We weren’t used to really being a team but God opened doors left and right. We connected with a church, and brought along a new friend we made. We actually got to have some really deep talks with him about his faith and about where he was at. It was amazing to see the way that God was working in him already. The people were really open and we were given numerous opportunities to witness to, love on, and give to those around us. We also met lots of foreigners! People from Canada, China, and even the U.S. It was a busy, but awesome three days.

From Serbia we headed to Bulgaria. We only had a couple days that we could spend there but they were very sweet. God left us to a brazilian coffee shop owned by a friendly man named angel and we got to spend a lot of time there just talking to him. From there we met a wonderful elderly couple who instantly adopted us and part of the team was able to go hang out with them the next day.

Then we were off to Turkey to catch our flight to Indonesia.

We met up with the rest of the squad in Turkey, had one awesome day there and made lots of new friends then caught our flight to Jakarta, Indonesia.

Europe was cool, but I’m extremely excited about the next five months in Asia.
