Swaziland, Africa.

This is our last country on the world race. It’s crazy to think that in just 2 1/2 months we will be back home.

Our first day here I sat with the Lord about what these last months would look like. He told me they would be hard but so sweet. He told me these would be months full of joy and peace. He told me I was going to grow in trust and dependency and oh man I am already seeing this happen.

Our ministry is working at joyella care point. Care points are places in a community where kids of all ages can come, eat, hang out, and be disciples. Most of our days are spent hanging out with kids just getting to know them and loving on them. With this being my 3rd time I swazi our ministry is very similar to what I have done before. This time around, I’ve noticed the importance of our ministry here. When doing ministry, sometimes you feel like you’re not making a difference and you’re wasting your time. The mundane daily routine of playing with kids seems useless, but now I see how we’re helping. Most of these kids are without one or both of their parents. If they are lucky enough to have parents, many are preoccupied with work to provide for their families and so the nurturing these kids need takes a back seat. When were able to come and play with these kids, we’re able to show them that someone loves them. That they’re worth our time.

Please be keeping my squad in your prayers in these next few months. That we can remain present during our time here so we can pour out into all the people we meet.
