I have never known the deep love a brother could have for his sisters until I left for the world race. Ever since training camp the guys on our squad have done everything to honor, respect, and love us girls, but this week they have outdone themselves!
On Monday when we got home from ministry we were immediately greeted by the guys on our squad. They were all dressed in their best clothes and they had the biggest smiles on their faces. They told us to get dressed up and be ready to go by 5:00. We were waiting outside of the common room all dressed up and ready for dinner when we were greeted by some of the guys and let in 5 people at a time. When we came in they sat us down and they washed our feet. They then directed us to our table where there were flowers and notes for each of us. After we sat down at our table, the guys served us all of our food and drinks.
That night we were loved so well by our brothers in Christ. They told us how honored they were to be able to serve us and love us well. I am SO grateful that God has put these men in my life to show me what a man of the Lord truly looks like. I am truly honored to know these men!
