First off I want to introduce myself, I am Jennifer Busch and my husband, Andy and I are the proud parents of Hannah Busch. We are truly amazed at how much Hannah has grown spiritually throughout this journey. She has fully surrendered to the Lord for guidance and reassurance along the way. But not only has this journey been Hannah’s it’s also been ours too. We have continued to lean on God for love trust and guidance along the way. I seem to grasp at every inspirational quote and prayer wherever I can get it. I am so thankful that we are able to communicate with Hannah as often as we can! We love to share with each other our experiences with others and how God is calling us to serve not for ourselves but for one another.
One story that I would like to share is a life changing decision I made a few years ago. During lent we always try to transform ourselves into being a better Christian. Well one year I decided that instead of giving something up, I was going to give. Whether it be a friendly smile to an elderly person, an uplifting text to a worried friend or helping anyone in need. But mostly I noticed all around us, every day someone is in need. I became a better Christian and it was truly life changing. I am consciously aware of who God is calling me to be. An example of his love.
I pray for the safety of all of our racers and cannot wait to embrace my beloved Hannah in 3 short months.
