There’s beauty in her eyes;
Childlike but wise.
Experience beyond her years
Yet there’s innocence.
These eyes have seen so much:
Struggle.
Desperation.
Beauty.
Joy.
She loves through her eyes.
One does not see pride
But a deep humility.
There’s beauty in her eyes.
A childlike joy.
She sees the beauty and worth in others.
She’s afraid of no one and nothing.
Strength.
Humble boldness.
There’s a pureness, a peacefulness, deep love.
I wish that she could see the same in mine;
That she could see her worth through my eyes-
The eyes of Jesus.
There’s beauty in her eyes.
“Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.” (Proverbs 31:25)
