Where are you rooted?
So many people see gifting‘s and anointing’s, and they crave it. But they have no concept of how people actually get there. And not only just get there, but how they stay there.
Giftings and anointings will get you a lot of places in life, but without being established in the father’s love, you will burn out, and never be satisfied no matter how far or how high you get on the ladder. When you get a hold of The Lord’s delight in you, your life will never be the same.
Do you know Jesus? When you wake up in the morning, do you see Jesus? When you go get your Cup of coffee, is he there? What is His tone of voice when speaking to you? When you sit at a table with a group of friends, do you feel His presence? If not, do you think you’re doing something wrong or that He doesn’t care? If you do think that, you’re believing a lie. He loves you more than you know, His love surpasses all understanding. His love does fade or go away. He doesn’t love you for what you do, or what you’ve accomplished, but who you really are on the inside. And His love doesn’t leave when you don’t measure up to the standard. Just your smile, brightens his day. He is always standing open armed, ready for you to embrace Him. The creator of this universe, the one who created the stars and galaxies, the depths and mysteries of the seas, the exotic rain forests of South America, wants to be with you? He longs for you, with a longing that aches deep down inside, just to spend time with you, just to be in your presence, because he loves you, just for who you are. You are not a burden to him, you’re his beloved child. You are a child of God.
So where are you rooted? Is it in God’s all powerful, all consuming love, or something else? Only His love can satisfy the aching in your heart.
