Just like that, my time in China has come to an end. It was a time of new adventures, old favorites, and seeing God at work in the midst of it all.
I lost count of the number of times people asked me, “Are you the tour guide?” and the little kids were confused whether or not I was really Chinese. When I got into a taxi when we first arrived, the driver asked if I was from somewhere else. I asked if it was my looks or mannerisms that gave me away. He simply replied, “You buckled up.” Another driver asked what English level I was at and whether it was authentic English. I miss China already.
If you would like to hear more about what happened this past month, please email/message me. The video below captures just a fraction of all that we experienced. There are stories from every single place that we visited, and we pray that the seeds that were planted will continue to thrive.
We will be spending this month in Kazakhstan in a village near the border. Please pray for favor with the officials and conversations with the locals. Thank you for your prayers!!
Until next time, China.
