Namaste! It has been an exciting month of ministry, mountains, and momos. The beauty of Nepal has made a lasting imprint on my heart. Being told more than once that I look Nepalese, I’m sure I can make an easy re-entry.

We will be leaving tomorrow to head into China!! As many of you know, I was born in China and moved to the US at a young age. I consider myself Chinese American, and often find myself in this space called the 1.5 generation, where I’m not quite first generation and not quite second generation. I would say I get the best of both worlds. Who doesn’t like to celebrate both Chinese New Year and Christmas?

I’m thankful that my parents made sure that I did not forget my Chinese with the countless textbooks and Chinese classes, so that I can “blend in” this time around in the cities and night markets. I’m going back this time after being away for six years not as a first or second generation kid, but as an ambassador of the Prince of Peace, and I’m both excited and nervous. Abba is moving in the Middle Kingdom, and will stop at nothing to bring the good news to the lost.

I will not be posting any new blogs due to security reasons until after we arrive in Kyrgyzstan in mid-July, so please direct message me your comments. In the meantime, you can find me via text and Wechat. Please keep us in your prayers over the next month, that we will be able to reach the unreached and find favor as we travel from the western border to the eastern shore.

Enjoy this video of my highlights from Nepal. Thank you (dhanyavada) for your prayers. They are more powerful than you can imagine.

“I pray because I can’t help myself. I pray because I’m helpless. I pray because the need flows out of me all the time, waking and sleeping. It doesn’t change God. It changes me.” – C.S. Lewis
