Hello everyone!  My name is Erin Harvey, and in September of 2018 I will embark on the adventure of a lifetime.  God has called me to serve Him in the countries of Guatemala, Thailand, Malaysia, and Swaziland with Adventures in Mission’s World Race Gap Year.  Sounds exciting, doesn’t it?

  • I’m an 18 year old homeschooled senior in high school.
  • I love to read.  Some of my favorite books include the Ranger’s Apprentice and Brotherband series by John Flanagan,  the Ilyon Chronicles by Jaye L. Knight, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen,  From the Dark to the Dawn by Alicia A. Willis, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, the Forbidden Doors series by Bill Myers, the Chronicles of Narnia and Till We Have Faces by C.S. Lewis, the Lord of the Rings and the Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien.
  • I like to doodle mandalas.
  • My Myers/Briggs personality type is INFJ (Introvert iNtuitive Feeling Judging).
  • Favorite Bible verses are Revelation 21:4 and Ecclesiastes 3:1-8.
  • My favorite colors are blue and black, but I’m also fond of green.
  • I’m afraid of heights.
  • My favorite foods are gumbo and pizza.
  • My favorite drink is sparkling grape juice.
  • I accepted Christ into my heart at the age of 8.
  • I felt the call to become a missionary when I was 10.
  • I went to Haiti in June of 2017 on a mission trip and absolutely loved it.
