There is so many experiences from training camp I want to share with you all. So this is part one of many more to come.
One day during worship one of our leaders came up to me and said “God keeps speaking waterfall for you” I laughed because God is so personal and knows us so well. She then continued to speak over me to jump under the waterfall and be covered by the love, freedom, and joy of Jesus. To be consumed by the Holy Spirit, to be filled up by Him, and invite others into the waterfall. That I have been standing on the river bank but it’s time for me to jump in. At first I was loving and thinking God is just reminding me how good He is and taking me back to waterfalls (which means a lot between us). However when the leader walked away God brought me back to something He showed me probably a year ago now. God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, and me where sitting on the edge of an empty reservoir. I was sitting there at the edge while the 3 stood behind me. God spoke into my ear “When this fills up a waterfall will come out that everyone will get to experience.” Then the Holy Spirit turned my head to a cliff at the end of the reservoir where the waterfall would be. At that moment I was pretty excited about seeing a waterfall but I didn’t think much about it.
However I was standing there during worship and God showed me the reservoir over flowing with this beautiful crystal clear water. Instead of the reservoir being in a dry land there was trees, bushes, flowers, and life surrounding the body of water. Then right where the Holy Spirit showed me a year ago bursted forth a powerful, beautiful, yet peaceful waterfall. I then was at the bottom of the waterfall where God’s presences engulfed the waterfall and Jesus playing under it. The Holy Spirit grabbed my hand asking me “Do you want to join” as we walked from the river bank to under the waterfall. We were all under the water talking about what this means. Jesus said that this was a fulfillment of Gods promise for me. That I need to invite others into the relationship we have and give them the opportunity to experience God for themselves. So that is the heart I am carrying out into my life and to the countries we will be going into. Through my relationship with Jesus I want to show others the relationship they can have and experience God themselves!
I want to invite you into your own experience with God. Sit down with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit and just ask them to show you what you need to experience!
