Fundraising has changed my perspective of life. Seriously it has. It challenges us to step out so God can step in. How?
Well when I began the process in January I knew I was going to be challenged and become more dependent on God. I had no idea how much. I know by July 1st I will be fully funded! I am learning to trust what God has promised even when it is impossible to grasp. I have experienced God taking my fears and giving me confidence to face them. I am discovering the personal relationship I have with God only grows more when I trust him in the next step. You see fundraising is not just about giving/raising money so we can reach others around the world. It is also about us individually giving God the ability to show us who He is. We are giving our time, money, and thoughts to God to see what he does with them. When you give you are joining a journey that will show how God moves when someone trusts.
When you give you are getting involved in a team to share Jesus experiences around the world. You will also get front row seats to stories (good, bad, weird and funny) on how God called this one girl to go to Costa Rica, South Africa, Thailand, and Myanmar. Come on, you want to be apart of this awesome journey!
