Hey! I’m Emily! I’m a Gap year 2018-2019 alumni. Shout out to gap T I love you squad war winners (and the winners of my heart, LOL).
Okay, now lets get down to business.
Do you regret doing the world race?
Nope. Not even a little bit. I am a very determined student who plans to go to grad school. Taking a year off made me nervous but it was academically one of the best decision I could have made.
Do you miss it?
SO MUCH! Mostly my people. But also the ministry and traveling.
Did you grow?
I can assure you of one thing, I am completely different in the best possible way.
Would you do it again?
I mean if the Lord calls me to it, heck yeah!
Should I do it?
Ultimately, it doesn’t matter what I think or what you think. What matters is the reality of what God says. I am 100% sure that the Lord called me to go on the race, and following the call was the best decision I have ever made.
