My time in Thailand has come to an end, for now!!! I will be back in Chiang Mai for a final debrief in 3 weeks before we head back to the states! But up next on the agenda, we head to Myanmar tomorrow! A 15 hour bus ride and then we will arrive in the city we are living in called Yangon. From what we have heard, we will be living in our ministry hosts house! And on a college campus. I will only be with my team rather than our whole squad so that will be new and exciting for us! Our ministry could be completely different than this, but we’ve been told we will be working at the college teaching English and running bible studies. Also we may have opportunities to preach and lead worship at church on Sundays. I also plan to do a phone fast for the next 3 weeks so I can really press into my team and fully take in these last 3 weeks.
Please be praying for a revival in Myanmar. There are some serious forms of oppression against Christians in this country. Because of this, it may not always be the safest. Please pray for awareness and protection for my team! Pray that we can love these people well and bring the Lords love in ways acceptable in their culture. Pray that they will see the light we carry! And lastly please be praying for my team, that we will stay present and unified.
