A reason, a season or a lifetime
(A quick goodbye)
Boy am I feeling sad at the moment! I am realizing the reality of how people truly come into my life for a reason, for a season or for a lifetime. Costa Rica most definitely has my heart. I love this place so dearly and I love its people. I have most definitely been effected by some of these amazing relationships I’ve formed and I honestly don’t want to let them go! I want to hold on tight to them and continue to grow them. Luckily we have a God that understands that goodbyes are hard but that our love for people can remain in our hearts forever. That we can pray for people and stay connected through our citizenship in heaven! I’m realizing I must give up my Tico relationships to Him because He knows if it’s a reason, a season or a lifetime. They’re all yours papa.
I love how I’ve seen God here. It’s amazing what God can show you when you take a step outside of what you know as life and live freely in the unknown of a new place. I’ve discovered how beautiful life is here and that It doesn’t matter where I am from or what I look like. Its ok to be different from the people that live around the world or even in my own backyard because there are an amazing amount of similarities that God has revealed to me in all of his children that surround me. It’s about my heart, and with a heart full of love, I have fit right into this loving culture. With that, I have recognized how amazing and unique God has made his children here and it’s been an honor to live in such a great country, a country that is most definitely being watched over by our father. Thank you Costa and it’s people for this amazing experience. I can without a doubt see myself coming back to this beautiful place! So, until next time: Chow Costa Rica, see you soon enough!! <3
