I’d first have to say today has been quite the long day! I woke up at 3am and I’ve been goin nonstop ever since!! But wow, it’s been worth it. Meeting so many amazing people today has been incredibly overwhelming but not at all in a bad way. Wow am I sure going to be blessed for 9 months with some amazing God loving people!!!! As I lay in my tent tonight, even sticky with the obnoxious humidity, I am truly so at peace. There have been so many unknown expectations that have totally exhausted me (because I’m a huge planner!!) but it’s also been so nice putting my trust in God into full effect. It is so so good.

What is training camp you may ask!? Like what in the world am I learning here? Honestly still oblivious to be quite honest but here are a few things I do know….

1. God is extremely present. He has called us all here to fulfill his gloriously promised plan and he is totally in control. How terrifyingly perfect.

2. We have already experienced an intesnse session of worship and it’s very clear we will hear Gods voice so very LOUD AND CLEAR in the next few days as we truly learn to LISTEN and break through the barriers the enemy has in store.

3. We will learn how to be a body of Christ, standing together from all backgrounds as one.

4. We will have difficult conversations that will stem from the hurt and fear in our lives. John 15:4 says this: ”Abide in me and I in you. As the branch cannot bare fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in me.” Those branches baring bad fruit will be recognized along with lots of fear. But love can overcome and destroy, turning the bad fruit to good. This leads me to the next one…

5. I KNOW this, God is going to have us fall to our knees and WRECK US this week with his Love!!! Oh boy will it be good and already has been. All in preparation to continue to be a missionary for him.

6. And finally, I will learn how to keep my tent closed so I don’t somehow find snakes cuddling with me at night, how to sleep in this crazy humidity, how to take cold bucket showers, and how to hike miles with a heavy pack on my back!

But I’m up for it!!!!! Ugh so excited for the days to come. God bless y’all and goodnight (:
