Dear Kindle,
These past three months as your team leader have been very special to me. From the moment we met in the hotel at launch to the moment we said goodbye at Christine’s School and Orphanage campus — it has been a blessing an an honor. I got to see each of you grow in your faith. I saw your eyes opened to spiritual realities that were very new to each of you and some that were even new to me. We got to walk together at Impact Africa where we all fell in love with students, G-Man, Dennis, Logan, Mason, Efra, Bethany, Jordan, Lindi, and of course Nano and Erin. One of my favorite times as a team that month was when we convinced G-Man to take us to McDonald’s after students instead of straight home, and another was when we all were celebrating Keir’s birthday with a dance party! Daniel it was fun to play volleyball, and Jeff I loved our late night bunkbed conversations! The next month eventually came and I was so happy to spend a month with just our team and whoever the host was gonna be. We went hard in Zim with a few really long days and some waiting around here and there. It was awesome to see us take everything a step deeper. It was so sweet for me to see another side of the personalities of each person on our team as our friendship was growing. I really loved staring at the stars together and eating popcorn. I loved watching the relationships we developed with our host, and the continued discipleship of the students in Chinhoyi. We finally said goodbye with tears in our last “Super-feedback” sesh at Vic Falls. I got to spend another month bunking with Jeff and watching Daniel continue to grow and take hold of what he is on the race to do. You all had some wonderful words and encouragement at the end under the pavilion at Christine’s place. I really couldn’t be more thankful for each of you. We’ve now spent Jeff and Daniel’s birthdays away from each other and even Thanksgiving. I can imagine all the feelings y’all are walking through. The race is full of so much change and way too many and just enough hard goodbyes. Y’all are gearing up for new teams and Christmas with those new teams. I’m praying for y’all through this season and all the continued transition. Y’all got this, and you’ll look back and see it was all worth it. The Father has you in His arms. He’s got you covered and He knows what you’re going through. His presence is so sweet go there when it gets hard and praise Him always. Each of you are special and I’m subscribed to all your blogs, so don’t forget to post or Brieanne is gonna get you! Joking, but really that’s for the most part how I’m keeping up with y’all and how I know what to pray. Message or call me anytime with Facebook or WhatsApp.
