We are more than a month into this World Race journey, and I haven’t even introduced you all to my team! I have been serving alongside 8 men who love Jesus and love people. I took some time this week to ask them some questions and to take some extremely unflattering pictures. Enjoy!

What brought you to the World Race?

A former 11in11 racer spoke at our church and inspired me to do mission and service work. God highlighted the program to me through people and certain events which pushed me towards it.

If you had to pick a household appliance to describe yourself, what would it be and why?

I’m a couch because people are very comfortable with me, I am very versatile and can serve MANY purposes, and people love to cuddle up with me.

What is one thing God has shown you so far on the race?

Relationships are the most important thing in life. Our relationship with God first and foremost,  relationships with the people around us second, and how our relationships with people point us back to and parallel our relationship with God. God has shown me that if I make this my priority, all other things will fall into place. Matthew 6:33

What brought you to the World Race?

A quote from the book ‘Wild at Heart’, “Don’t ask yourself what the world needs, ask yourself what makes you come alive and then go do that, because what the world needs is more people who have come alive.” So I thought about that and God showed me that missions trips make me come alive and my co-worker told me about the World Race so I applied!

If you had to pick a household appliance to describe yourself, what would it be and why?

Refrigerator because I love food, and just like a fridge, I can hold a lot of food.

My family, My friends, my bed, and being able to eat whenever and whatever I want.

I have been so blessed with these men in my life so far. They challenge me and push me in my walk every single day. They are a bunch of kingdom shakers who will stop at nothing (they are like relentless…get it?) to bring the love of Christ across the globe.

P.S. Ladies, most of these dudes are single so don’t be afraid to hit them up. You’ll just have to wait for like 8 months because covenant.
