This past week I was able to join a team and go out into the bush to invite tribe members to the local church.

I went out with a local man and came upon this small gate with a woman outside so I approach the gate and instantly feel an invisible wall. I stop in my tracks and the Spirit brings Luke 10 to my mind so I start to pray for favor. The woman invites me into the gate and calls to another woman to join us. The women bring a tree stump over me to sit on and then pull up buckets underneath the tree to hear what I have to say.

I take a breathe and ask the Father to show up. I felt led to just ask them if they know the name Jesus. (I have a translator because they speak tonga) They look at one another and then they turn to me and tell me they have never heard the name before. So I can think to only share the simple gospel. God sent His only son, Jesus was born and lived without sin, Jesus died on the cross for our sins, Jesus rose again on the third day and believing this to be truth we again have perfect communion with God. Heirs to the kingdom.

They look at one another and smile then turn back to me and ask what to do now…so I extend an invitation to accept Christ as their savior and then give them the details for the church service on Sunday to start discipleship.

They wrote down the Bible verses that I shared with them to have read to them in their language on Sunday. The church we partnered with has one bible in the local language.

One Bible.

I left there and moved on to the next hut. I shared the Gospel at five huts, prayed healing for four women, and saw two women give their lives to Christ. All Glory to the Father who lets me see the harvest. All to exalt the one who is worthy. Please join me in prayer for the people of Zimbabwe. Please pray for healthy and biblical churches to be planted. Please pray for the women I got to met and pray for. Please pray for the three team members that spoke at the church services today.
