My time hop showed that had been dropped off at the airport yesterday for Uganda! My very first time to Africa and my first time experiencing and seeing the Lord with members of the body that at that time were strangers.
Now in a few days I’ll be off to prepare for the next place and “strangers” that the Father has asked me to join, to Africa for the third time.
I’m headed to Gainesville, Georgia to finish up my year with M squad and in a few days I’ll meet the young adults of X squad.
Same organization.
Different route.
Different people.
Same/same but different role for myself.
I’m stepping into this new squad as an alumni squad leader and simply meaning I get to walk alongside this group of 37 young adults for the first five months of their 11 month race.
I will get to see their eyes opened to different parts of the kingdom, their role in the kingdom and most importantly I will get to see them encounter the Father in a new way.
I will travel with them throughout Africa and then I’ll say goodbye to this group in Vietnam.
If you kept up with my race and my journey, THANK YOU.
If you prayed for me, my squad, my family, THANK YOU.
If you gave financially, THANK YOU.
I could never say that enough.
This time, I am needing all of this again. I need prayer for this new season, for this new group and for my family back home. I also need you to pray and ask God if you should partner with this financially.
There are financial needs that reach beyond my green bar on my page. (www.cortnierobbins.theworldrace.org)
My baby sister is getting married in October and I’m praying for a way to come home for it. If you would like to give for that specifically you can reach out via Facebook message and I can share ways or simply venmo @cbrobb.
