I am always pretty partial to this time of year. The weather is exactly where I like it….even in Texas. There are rainy days galore to sleep in to, a constant buzz with excitement that winter is closing and we can go outdoors more, and the Rangers start playing again!

Isaiah 43:19 English Standard Version (ESV)

19 Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Seems like a fitting “spring time” read. What Christ did for me this time 2000 years ago is just as important to me as what He did two years ago at this time. 2000 years ago He made away for me to be His and two years ago, I accepted that sacrifice.

I heard a story of a 4th grader asking his teacher what Easter was and who this Jesus man was. He has lived all his days in America. A few weeks ago I had a friend get to share the Gospel at a gas station to a man that was born and raised here in America. This man had no idea what John 3:16 meant. Everywhere we look and go there is an opportunity to give to someone what you were given. The past few weeks in Stonepoint Kids we have read about “the good news”, what is means to make disciples of every nation, and our Great Commission as believers. It has been pretty cool to help these 10 and 11 year olds navigate conversations with their friends.

This time of the year is the easiest time to share the Gospel if you have been waiting for a good time to bring it up to someone. My boss goes to church once a year and this is it. I will be praying that this Sunday changes his whole life.

If somehow you stumbled on this blog and you don’t know what that Jesus man is all about, email me and I would love for you to receive you what has been given to me.
