Hi everyone!
I am excited to get this started and to tell you guys what God has been doing in my life! For those of you that stumble upon my blog and don’t know me, I am a sister, daughter, and an aunt. The most important thing I am is the daughter of the one True King and I seek Him constantly.
I am from a very small town in Texas and still have the same community of Christ-like-minded set of girlfriends that I did 20 years ago.
I have a wonderful pastor at my church that has a the biggest and sweetest heart for missions. The first conversation I ever had with him he told me that as a new believer I needed to get my passport immediately. He said every new believer should be ready to answer the call to GO…What else do you do with that piece of advice?? Well, I made an appointment at the post office.
Once I had my first passport at the age of 27, God called.
I recently went to Africa and when I came home, I was no longer myself. While in Africa I heard about the World Race and I was not able to shake the call to GO.
Arriving home, I prayed and asked God to let me quit my 8-5 (who actually is working those 9-5’s?) and to let me give up my comforts of home to GO back in the field longterm.
Spoiler Alert: HE SAID GO.
Here I am, preparing to leave and go and live and share the good news for eleven months.
