MONTH 10.
We’re almost there… almost finished with this race.
But we’re not done yet! So here is an update about month 10!
Ministry :
This month is very different than any other month on the race. It is what we call “No Host Month.” Teams are given the space to pray and ask the Lord to guide them through the month. We don’t have scheduled ministry, a host, or lodging.
We get to ask the Lord to guide us and lead us in all areas. The team I am with has had visions, God-ordained encounters, and promptings that have led them to the city of Novi Sad, Serbia. We also found a church and partnered with them for various ministry opportunities.
Personally, my ministry has looked a little different than some people on the team. Before this month the Lord gave me a vision of nature, flowers, and green earth and told me to “Take care of my Creation.” This led to me going to a lot of different flower shops around the city. I met an owner of one flower shop who lived in California for 4 years! We talked about our favorite places to go in San Diego and LA and connected really well. I also have been connecting with another flower shop owner named Mira. I found this flower shop on a morning run. I picked a coffee shop on the map that I wanted to scout out a few miles away from our house and passed Mira’s florist on the way there. Turns out the coffee shop was out of business but I was led to another flower shop! The Lord works in crazy ways.
Community :
This month I am with team Tetelestai! We are living in a small airbnb that fits the eight of us perfectly. Our house has a lovely green yard with a beautiful flower bed. We have gotten close with our airbnb host and have loved this type of ministry as well. We have been blessing each other with different baked goods and gifts!
This team is full of energy and loves to bring things to completion. They love on everyone they meet and shower the Lord’s blessings wherever they go. I have loved getting to know them on a deeper level and bringing unity through the Lord’s grace.
Prayer Requests :
As the race is beginning to come to a close, I have a lot waiting for me at home… my future. I have been in prayer laying my future before the Lord on the daily but I would really love for you all to join me in prayer on this as well. I have some things on my heart like going back on the mission field, pursuing video editing, or getting a different job altogether. I really don’t know what to do. Please pray for discernment, peace, and guidance! I am also super excited for month 11 of the race!! We have a lot of amazing things planned and want to ask you to cover our squad in prayer! Please pray for unity, guidance, and just the Lord’s provision in every area.
