Month Four is here and we are in Kasane, Botswana!
Ministry :
This month we are serving the villages of Kazungula and Kasane, Botswana with a man named Pastor John. We are the first team he has ever hosted and are loving it already. We have been in Botswana for less than a week and can already call it home. Ministry this month varies almost every day. We will be doing evangelism, helping out in the local preschools, prison ministry, women’s ministry, community outreach, and more!
Community :
Community looks a little different this month and I am EXCITED. My team is by ourselves for the first time on the Race so far. We are staying at Pastor John’s house in the village sleeping on couches and cooking our meals! We have made friends with the teachers at the local preschool and have other friendships within the village already. I am loving African hospitality and the intentionality of having locals over for dinner and card games. Our community living may be small but it is oh so fruitful.
Prayer Requests :
Please pray for unity within my team as this is our first month being alone. Pray for good health and strength to persevere through the crazy African heat! Please pray for abandonment. I have been struggling giving every single circumstance to the Lord, especially the things I don’t understand. Also, please pray for Pastor John as he adjusts living with 6 women!
