Hey everyone!
My name is CJ Shiner. I am 20 years old and from Basehor, Kansas, which is just outside of Kansas City. Here are some things about me. I enjoy pretty much everything that has to do with being outdoors, such as camping, hiking, mountain biking, and so on. I also enjoy wood working and music. I have grown up in Christian Home and have been following Christ since I was around 10 years old. Before I knew anything about the World Race Gap Year, I had been attending college for a little over a year. I felt as though I wasn’t working towards anything and had no plans for my life. I began to look into different mission programs and that’s when I came across the World Race Gap Year. I know feel as though I have purpose in my life and that I am working towards something. I am so excited to grow in my relationship with Christ on this trip and see Him and His people in a new way. God has blessed me with the ability to work with my hands, and I am so excited to use those abilities on this trip for His Kingdom. I am really pumped and so thankful for the opportunity God has blessed me with to go on this trip.
