Hello everyone! I am back with some updates on what the Lord has been doing lately. First, I am hyped because the t-shirts are finally here!! Second, I have to share with you all how fundraising has been one of the most humbling things I have done in a very long time. There is such a feeling that comes from other people wanting to partner with you by supporting the mission I cannot even begin to explain. The last few weeks have been full of encouragement. I keep finding out people are doing different things and having little fundraising events without me even knowing about them. I cannot explain how that feels, it is pretty humbling to know people believe in the gospel so much they are willing to partner with a stranger. Yeah, that is the coolest part, most of them did not even know me when they started their efforts, yet they believe in spreading the love of Christ so they did it anyways! He is definitely starting to teach me so much about how He raises up His people to accomplish His purpose as He sees fit.
There has never been any doubt about the Lord raising all the money, but the awe that has come from the way He is doing it has been quite unexpected. I would lie if I tell you I knew He was going to do this or do that. I had no idea how He was going to show up and still pretty clueless about what He has in store. All I know is that I am supposed to trust and wait. I guess I am currently learning this fundraising is indeed part of my equipping (shocker, right?). The best part has been seeing how the more I submit the need to Him the more He has me in awe. It is just wild people! You simply cannot outgive the Lord! He wins, He will always win, no matter how hard you try, He is the ultimate giver, so He will win.
Let me just tell you this continues to be such a journey of trust. Trust that everything is just going to be the way it should be. Trust that He goes before us. Trust that He is moving in the hearts of those who will partner with us. Trust that He sees us in the midst of everything that is going through our heads. Trust that there is so much more to this mission than what my brain can fathom. Trust that He is God and nothing is impossible for Him. Trust that He will do what I could never do on my own.
Yall, I am in awe, in awe of the way He is rocking my world. In awe of the way He continues to show me more of His character. In awe of how much He loves. In awe, just in complete awe.
