Little snapshot of what life looked like today on the World Race. My team, Shalom Sisters, had the opportunity to support local churches doing a Family Fun Day in the park by singing songs, making crafts and teaching English. We spent the morning planning and the afternoon serving. Here’s a lil’ video that followed my day. ??
Prayer Requests:
I’m sharing my testimony tomorrow in church. In about 2 hours from now actually. Prayer that the Lord would be glorified in my story, that translation communicates the Father’s heart and the Gospel well and that it would encourage my Ukrainian brothers & sisters.
Our ministry host is an incredible man of God with this lovely family, a wife and four young children. He’s loved us so well and blessed us incredibly. While he drove us home tonight, his entire six person family sat in the front two seats while three of us girls each had our own seat in the back. They said, they might have a small car but they have many friends. They use all they have to serve others. Prayers for a bus, that they would be able to serve and reach even more with. (Oooooh and that it like never breaks down and always have a bit more gas than what you’d think after how much its been used)
For this camp (I know right, CAMP!) we’ll be working with this next week. Open hearts and ears to the Gospel. Most of the Ukrainians we’ve interacted with and done life with from the church, met their spouses and/or (mostly and to be fair) were deeply impacted by what the Lord did through camp. Praise the Lord for what he’s been doing through this ministry avenue and for my team’s flexibly in fitting into whatever role we’re thrown into.
Love you all and Jesus loves you more,
Caitlyn Buell
