There’s something so beautiful about about wildflowers. They make everything better, brighter. In a cool way we kind of relate to them. Flowers need water, sunlight, and Jesus to survive just like we do. They’re all unique and beautiful just like us.Our ministry this last month in Thailand is at a women’s shelter & home called the Wildflower Home.
I probably see the Lord’s love and joy here most at our ministry. It’s a place for women who were abused and mistreated to recover. They have a banana farm, a mushroom house, a pig farm, a little lake with fish and much more on the property! You really can see God in everything there, especially the ladies that live there and I see beauty in both them and the property every day.
The Wildflower Home is run by the sweetest nuns you’ll ever meet. Theses ladies spoil us and treat us with the most love. They make sure we always have cold water, breaks, coffee and yummy food/snacks. My favorite thing about here is the community. After living with so many people for a long time, I’ve learned how important good community is and they definitely have it. The ladies that are staying there help with the farms and cook the food while also having young children to take care of. They are a family and they accepted us into it with open arms and incorporate us into the business of their lives.
God is so cool for allowing us to experience new things and meet new people in every country. Tomorrow is our last day of ministry here in Thailand before we move to Myanmar and It’s bittersweet like every time we move. I know God still has lots in store!
Please let me know if there’s any way I can be praying for ya’ll! Much love:))
