Alright, I know I’m dramatic and all but the smog here actually is awful. Not going to lie, when they said it was smog season I didn’t really believe them. Oh, was I so wrong. We have to wear masks that cover your mouth and chin. When you wear it for hours not only do you have an ocean of sweat on your face, but some lovely new chin pimples to go with it. The smog unfortunately was so bad we couldn’t go to ministry except for a day and a half last week. After lots of prayer and patience the smog got better this week and we got to go to ministry, WHOOHOO PRAISE GOD!

Ministry month 1:
This month we’re doing manual labor! We have the privilege to help build a school for families that can’t afford the school system here because of how expensive it is. There has been lots of painting and sweeping which, in all honesty, has been hard. Not hard in the way you’re thinking, but hard in the sense of not really knowing if my work has an eternal impact for God’s kingdom. Sometimes not seeing the fruits of my labor in people’s lives is hard because I am so relational but I am learning a lot from it. Something amazing though is that God shows up even when we’re painting! I actually find it satisfying listening to Jesus jams and painting. All of this to say, God can and will show up anywhere if you allow him to. I am so beyond blessed to have the opportunities I have to share the gospel here in Thailand, even through this work.

Don’t forget you have opportunities everyday to share the gospel. No matter if it’s work, school, or even a grocery run, God will always show up.
