The 50 days here could have looked like anything. We were given a city, and we were told to find a place to live and pray about what to do with the time we have here.
Life is ministry and ministry is life.

New country. New culture. Five times a day an intercom blasts prayers throughout the city signaling the time of prayer for Muslims.

First time attending the international church. Got called Mormons because of our clothes. Obviously we were trying to figure things out.

Made friends right away. Spent 10 hours with them this day.

Mint tea, tagine, and couscous are staples here. And you get to eat with your hands!

Went to the Mosque with our neighbors. Got kicked out.

We prepared to go to the mountains and never made it because God had other plans.

Three has been my number this month. I see it everywhere. One day God put it on my heart to pray for a man walking down the street. I asked if he spoke English and he held up three fingers. Non verbal communication is great! Thank you Jesus for being healer.

Squad leaders Laura and Soloman came to visit.

Drank my first cup of coffee EVER while sitting on the floor around this little table. Little did I know, I would drink it two more times.
This is also where I felt the most resistance against my prayers while interceding.

Even in the middle no where, it seems a mosque is a priority. A hijab (head covering) is a cultural norm.

You can still find quiet in the midst of chaos.

Our friends skipped school to show us around campus.

The night I got to ask Jesus to pour out the Holy Spirit on a girl we met.

Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. Ephesians 2:9

Goodbye Moroccan sunsets.
Our first debrief is over. Debrief is where all the teams come back together to tell stories, worship, and reflect on what has happened. It was wild!

“I am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more. You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you. Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned. But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.
John 15:1-8
