This is one of the questions I was most commonly asked before coming on the race. And one of the things I stressed about the most, honestly. Now that we have officially hit the halfway point, I think I feel confident answering that question.

I have decided to do a little experiment to show you how the same 5 articles of clothing can get you through an entire country with the right accessories.

Full disclosure, I am not counting unmentionables or pjs. This blog is just a fun way to show enquiring minds what a World Race Wardrobe can look like. Don’t fret, I have way more than 5 articles of clothing! I’ve just limited it to show you how versatile you can be with a limited amount of clothing.

Here is the starting lineup!

I got this flannel in Cyprus at a store called L.C. Wakiki in the mens department. Think H&M/ Forever21 mashup. Its cozy and warm and I love it.

My very favorite item of clothing. My Christmas jumper (thats how the Kiwi’s say sweater) that I got for 2JD (thats roughly $2.82) at the Friday Market (think giant flea market). The tag says Made in Italy so it is obviously the fanciest article of clothing I own. No big deal.

I picked up this awesome dress off the free table at our month 5 debrief (The free table is where everyone throws the stuff they no longer want to haul around but also don’t want to throw away). I almost didn’t because its COLD. But, I miss my nightgowns so I went for it. Turns out I can also dress it up. Surprise Surprise.

Ahh, my mens jeans. Also from L.C. Wakiki in Cyprus. None of the women jeans fit me. Literally zero. They were all too short! I nearly gave up when Ace brought me these mens jeans and told me to give them a try! Lo and behold they fit like a glove! Praise the lamb for the men in skinny jeans trend. The distressed knee is courtesy of me falling and splitting my knee open in Jordan… if you look closely you can probably still see the blood stain.

My fleece lined leggings. Again, its cold. They’re awesome. I know, I know, the dress code. I promise I don’t wear them in public with my tush showing. Side note, just another reason all girls teams are the best.

This is my packing cube full of fun stuff. Socks, undies, neck scafs, and one proper scarf.

I will document my outfit every day while we’re in Georgia. Follow along on Social Media or wait for the part 2 of this blog to see how it goes. Lets get this party started!
