Farther Along by Josh Garrels: this song is one of my favorites and I listened to it a lot on the plane ride from Buenos Aires to Barcelona. This line of lyrics hit me hard specifically during these repeats “… I wonder why the good man dies the bad man thrives and Jesus cries cause he loves them both…”

Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen: I also watched this movie on the plane for Buenos to Barcelona. I enjoyed it a lot and proceeded to have the soundtrack stuck in my head ever since.

Mission Impossible Theme Song: so on the flight to Barcelona I was in a middle seat in the middle row of four seats. Around me was a family. A very sleepy family that slept pretty much the entire time. Well I had to go to the bathroom a few times during the night. On one side the father daughter are snuggled up so that way was blocked. My other side the mother was. I figured I’d go through her side since she took up less space but I didn’t want to be rude and wake her so I stood up on my seat then reached my leg over her to her armrest, hands on her seat back. Anyways I maneuvered over and the mission impossible song was playing in my head during that time. Successfully did this twice with no wake ups so I’m basically Tom Cruise…and Schmidt “Parkour!!!!!”

Busy by traag: During our 19 hr layover in Barcelona the girls (Maddie, Katie, maggie, Megan, Mallory) and I went exploring and out for paella. During dinner some men did an acrobat show in the open plaza to this song.

Cheetah Girls: because didn’t they go to Barcelona?! Haha low key topic of discussion when we heard we were going there.

Shallows : during the flight from barca to Qatar I watched the movie A Star is Born and listened to this song a lot. ALOT.

Raise a Hallelujah (Live) by Bethel Music: headphones were stuck on this song – really my whole morning light playlist on Spotify – during the flight from Qatar to Sri Lanka.

Rajyam Balamu Nive by Jeevan Kishore : learned this Telugu song at orientation 🙂

The Greatest Showman Soundtrack: played this through the loudspeaker at an outdoor event carnival we went to with the kids.

Leaning on the Everlasting Arms: The girls we hung out with everyday would ask us to sing “Jesus songs” so meg and I sang this one for a long time while jumping on the trampoline with them.

Nachoonga by Sheldon Bangera: watched this music video on YouTube during our dance party one Friday morning.

Speed of Sound by Coldplay: playing in The Roastery a coffee shop we hung out at one morning.

Sue Me by Sabrina Carpenter: played in the salon when suze, Sara and I treated ourselves to pedicures.

I’m so tired… by Lauv: song obsession of the month. Listened to so much of this. Made everyone near me listen to so much of this. One of those “just listen it’ll change your life I swear…”. Underrated. And yes mainstream music can still be underrated. Gems like this one can hide in plain sight

Marigold by Phillip Larue: another fave to listen to while sitting and doing receipts.

Banana Pancakes by Jack Johnson: I wrote jack down on a piece of paper for the fishbowl game and some people DID NOT know who he was!!! So of course we had to listen to this song AND make banana pancakes for breakfast
