Praise Report: I am beyond thrilled to share with everybody that I’ve hit the halfway point for fundraising! Thank you for partnering with me and my ministry with prayer, encouragement or donations. Every little bit has helped. In the beginning when I felt intimidated or small by the BIG amount needed to raise to go I would think of a song. The one we used to sing in Sunday school back in the day and maybe you did too “My God is so big, so strong and so mighty there’s nothing my God cannot do”. I am in awe of all the ways God has been working and interweaving us all together. The people and situations he uses to bring about his plans gives me chills. I can’t describe the love and community I’ve felt every step of the way & I hope to bring some of that when I go.
Halfway there still means halfway to go so I have a few different fundraisers happening. Here are some ways you can get involved…
The Adopt-A-Country piggy banks are a fun way to be the change (*wink* *wink* see what I did there?) and connect with a particular spot on the race. The first batch of countries have gone out and a second group of them have been made! So to participate… 1) pick a country 2) receive your piggy bank to fill with moola (spare change/loose bills) and sweet notes, drawings, memories or “inspirational internet notes” (haha thanks M) for me to take with and read while in that country! 3) I also ask that you please pray for that country, the people, my squad and our time there 4) We will collect the banks from you in June/July!
