Okay so I’ve never been very good at “about me”s so I asked my best friend to help. She described me as…intelligent, easy-going, sassy & like a ray of sunshine. Buuuut you have to take it with a grain of salt because she’s obviously a biased participant. So I put together these 11 fun facts to get to know me instead. Figured that it fit with the whole 11 countries in 11 months thing.
11 Interesting-ish Facts About Me
- Born & raised in MN so I say things like “Uffdah”, “You betcha” & “Don’tcha know”
- Books are my primary love language…so is “quality time”
- I cannot rollerblade. Balance has never been my forte.
- I love playing board games (& card games). I am the queen of Scrabble, & I am on the journey from novice to ninja at Cribbage.
- I frequently get asked “What are you?” in reference to my nationality so I took the ancestry DNA test. 52% Scandinavian for anyone curious.
- I really enjoy kayaking, reading, traveling, late night conversations, spontaneous adventures, family Sunday lunches and creating floral arrangements. (Hint: one of these things is false)
- My middle name is Elizabeth.
- My first international missions trip was to Guatemala.
- I’m a morning person. I wake up ready to dance, or workout which I usually do at 5 am most days.
- I love organizing and decluttering.
- I played volleyball throughout school oddly enough with my lack of coordination and lack of height. 5’2 btw.
