My time in Vietnam is coming to an end, and I’m actually sad about leaving as I have totally fallen in love with this country and all that it’s about.  I have learned so much and have grown so much as a person during my time here.

As I’ve mentioned before this month was ATL/in sung heroes month for my team and I.  It was also a very successful month in my opinion as we found a church called HIF to have future connections with as well as a few other organizations to have as potential AIM-World Race partners in Worldvision & The Aqullia Center.  We also were able to give back to the community in ways of helping both kids & adults improve their English skills while taking in all that the vietnamese culture had to offer, and not to mention numerous coffee shop meetings with different people.  It was also cool to stand on the sidelines and not only support but to be able to witness one of my teammates serve in an area that she is extremely passionate about for that too shows that God gave us all a passion for different things in order to further his kingdom.

While this month did offer its struggles, they were good struggles as out of those struggles came personal growth & a sense of what God might have planned for me in the future.  This month also reminded me of Gods beauty in this world by means of getting the chance to explore Ha Long Bay & feeling a sense of being “home” sitting in a kayak in a large body of water surrounding by rock formations that remind you of a national lake shore in your home state while feeling a sense of peace once agian.

So yeah I say that it was mission accomplished this month on all the levels and I hope that God will call me back to Vietnam someday as God is clearly working here as the government is slowly becoming more open & accepting of Christianity which is awesome.

Bring it on month 5- I’m ready for ya!

Pray for safe travels for my team and I as we head back to Saigon to meet up with the rest of the squad & then safe travels for all of p squad as well as our mentor & coaches as we all head to Cambodia in our various means of transportation.

Till next time your fellow sister in Christ
