If you had told me last year that I would be sitting here in the courtyard of the First Church of the Nazerene in Independence Belize, I would have laughed at you & called you crazy.
But here I am sitting in the courtyard of the First Church of the Nazerene in Independence Belize, living & serving with 5 other incredible gals who make up the rest of Team Surrendered who are like sisters to me while serving in anyway we can for the church.
It’s just awesome how my life has done a total 180 this past year, as at this time last year I was only considering going on the World Race, but now I’m here living a life that I never had imagined I would live.
During the last 6 weeks, launch weekend & travel days, I felt restless, so much so that the best way to describe it was like a chained up dog who wants to go after a squirrel.
From the moment I stepped off the plane at the Belize City airport, I have felt a sense of freedom that I have never felt before, and to me that is such as an awesome feeling to have.
