The third country on my route was India, because of certain laws and for my safety I was unable to post about my ministry during my stay. So here is a quick update on what ministry looked like for the past two months.

We were staying in Northeast India in Manipur, in the village of Sielmat with the hmar tribe. We lived in the dorms of the Trinity College and Seminary School.

Everyday ministry looked a little different. Some days we spent at the hospital making cotton balls or folding gauze pads and praying over the sick. We also helped out in many of the different schools teaching English and helping the teachers with whatever they needed. Sometimes this meant just playing and loving on the children. We also had the chance to help with uniform distribution, it was incredible to have the opportunity to be on the other side of the process of sponsored children.

Other days were spent doing church construction or painting the hallways of the schools. We also had the opportunity to go to the Agape Rehab Center and minister to the men. Then there was the Saturdays we spent those putting on one day VBS or what they called Bible Club. On Sundays, we would go to one of the many local churches in the area. We also had the opportunity to serve the rest of the squad by helping the cooks once a week.

India was by far my favorite country on my route for so many reasons the ministry opportunities were amazing and we were able to build relationships. It was definitely the hardest place to leave. It changed me in more ways than one and I pray that one day the Lord will allow me to return to it. For now, I am going to put everything I have into the beautiful country of Guatemala, I know Abba has some huge things in store for me in these last three months of my race. Thanks for reading!
